Gary loves the snow! It gets him frisky. This shot shows how his jowls are maturing and really coming into thier own. His jowls have a solid, comforting weight to them. My boy is so handsome!

What Planet Am I On??

After a vicious and highly emotional fight over the futon...... this happened. A beautiful compromise. I truely did not think these two were capable of such leaps and bounds forward in thier personal belief systems. Wonders never cease!

The many faces of the G-man

Looking innocent and coy:

Enjoying the gifts this world has bestowed on me (jowls, of course):

On his bed (aka pile of smelly blankets):

Worn out from some intense bone chewing:

Video of Gary Splashing About

Gary cooling off in the tiny stream at Point Pleasent Park. This is his favourite part of the walk.

I have to admit, he does look like he's getting big in these pics.

Guess What? More Gary...

Gary looking depressed during his first Halifax bath. (Note the damp jowls every so delicately brushing the side of the tub.)

Easy, Breezy, Beautiful...

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! You can almost hear the lips flapping in the wind.

Nothing like airing out the ol' gums. Reduces plaque and gum disease up to 70% with proper brushing and flossing.

If these jowls were any bigger he could use them as a parachute. Now all he needs is a pair of Doggles.

The Face Dreams Are Made Of

Someday a face as sweet as this and jowls as plush as these will be mine. Until then, I shall dream of them....and sigh.

The Full Body Experience

These wrinkles belong on this pedestal, this throne of jowldom. Highlighted by the warmth of the sun, their true depth is revealed. I kneel before them, in awe, in worship. I am the jowls humble servant.
**please note the tail wrinkles.

Aging Like a Fine Wine

Let's face it folks. Jowls only get better with time. I mean could these elegant specimens be any sweeter? So full, so voluptuous. The grey highlights only add to their charm. You can just tell that these jowls have been loved, nurtured, nuzzled, and generally worshiped for many quality years, and that these venerable plump folds of loose skin will be appreciated as they continue to mature, revealing to the lucky recipient more of their mysteries and wisdom.

They Cannot be Contained

These mammoth jowls refuse to conform to society's norms. They shall not be contained! They will break through the constraints and pressures of convention to reach new artistic heights! Spread little jowls! Spread! Spread your message to the world!

Jowl Appreciation: Examples to Live by

Cup them in the palm of your hand. Do this frequently.

Touch them with as much skin as possible. Use your face.

Always remember the sweet spot. That is where happiness lives.

Close up that proves above point:

Elegance. Beauty. Chic.

I hope you take the lessons (or reminders for some!) you have learned here today and immediately incorporate them into your own Jowl Appreciation adventures. Happy Jowl Loving!

When Forehead Wrinkles Are Almost Enough

These forehead wrinkles are of such a quality that the jowls are almost secondary. ALMOST! Makes me want to shrink myself down to a tiny person and slide down the forehead slope, in and out of the folds, yelling a high pitched, "weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!" (And then taking a nice snuggly nap in the jowls.)

Swing Those Lippies!

What a fabulous action shot! I love to see jowls on the move. These are particularly lovely, as the swinging action emphasizes their plush and fuzzy qualities. Don't you want to press that flying flab between your thumb and index finger?! A really nice, solid texture going on here. Very sensual... tangible... I can almost feel the tiny hairs skimming over my face as the sweet sagging jowls swing past.

Clean, Supple, Weimaraner Lips.

A beautiful angle. Velvety metallic-gray fur. Lines and creases created by nature that any master painter would be jealous of. And lets not forget the line of delicate hairs rounding off the lowest hanging lip. Close your eyes, and dream of running your cheek along that lovely curve, each tiny hair tickling with delight, causing giddiness. And that paper thin ear-fold ain't too bad either.
