Tubby Time

On those hot days my boy needs to cool down. When he is too hot he lets me know by getting into the tub and waiting for me to run him a cold bath. He loves to lounge in the cold water while mommy splashes it up over him to cool all his parts.

Education Is Important

Every once in a while here at FtLotJ I like to give back and provide my fans with some valuable knowledge to expand their jowl loving horizons. This is one of those special occasions, so get your pencils ready, you might want to take notes!

Sometimes flexibility is necessary to get into those tight corners to conform to the correct angle for maximum jowl appreciation. Take up Yoga if you have to!

Lying on the floor I was able to take this shot, and therefore provide you with the valuable information below whereby I point out especially wondrous areas of Gary's jowls that might have been missed from a more vertical stand point.

The angle is everything! Look what an overhead view is missing!

It is just good practice to end any Jowl Loving Session with a good plant to the lippies.

A Study of the Lippies

It is no secret that Gary has amazing lips. Truely breathtaking. Several times a day my lips meet his and I experience moments of pure joy and childlike enthusiasm. Sometimes, his lippies get stuck out and pucker such as in the photo below. I take advantage of these swell opportunites the way any true jowl enthusiast would: I kiss those lippies! I usually accompany the kiss with a jowl squeeze as well, making for a sensually delightful combination. I recommend trying this proven combo on your nearest set of jowls at the next opportunity!

This is Gary at Parlee Beach, where we will be going this weekend. He isn't much of a retriever and only brings back sticks when he feels like it, but he seems to be enjoying the activity in this photo. I particularly enjoy the one ear salute.

Bordeaux Printmaking

This is a dry point etching of a Dogue de Bordeaux that I did today in class. It is etched onto plexi glass, inked with oil based ink, and then run through a press onto moistened paper. Do you think I did the jowls justice?

Canada Day Goes to the Dogs

Canada Day celebrations at the James camp. Total Canine Count was 10 this year, down from last year's 11.

Mom With The Boys

The Little Buddy and the G-man. Howard is clearly jealous of Gary attempting to encroach on his claimed lap in the Land of Snuggles. Gary is oblivious to Howard's anxieties as he soaks up the love. Good times.

Snow!

Gary loves the snow! It gets him frisky. This shot shows how his jowls are maturing and really coming into thier own. His jowls have a solid, comforting weight to them. My boy is so handsome!

What Planet Am I On??

After a vicious and highly emotional fight over the futon...... this happened. A beautiful compromise. I truely did not think these two were capable of such leaps and bounds forward in thier personal belief systems. Wonders never cease!
